Message to the Tri-Cities Community:

The planning committee for First Night Tri-Cities has made a difficult decision to not hold an event on New Year's Eve, December 31, 2015.

A new planning committee took over the logistics of planning the event in late May of 2015. We have been working hard to plan a bigger, bolder and brighter celebration focus on a safe, family-friendly celebration on New Year's Eve, but despite working very hard on planning a fun night for everyone, we feel we need more time to successfully plan an execute an event of this caliber.

We already have done much work will carry that progress into the new year. We fully intend to be back in 2016 with a First Night 2017 program for the community to enjoy. Our group firmly believes First Night is a viable celebration for families on New Year's Eve and offers some unique for attendees of all ages. We remain steadfast in that commitment to the community and will continue to work hard to plan a great event for everyone next year.

We apologize for for the dissapointment this will cause many of you and home you continue to follow and support us with our new event in 2016.

Thank you.
