BECOME A VOLUNTEER

 

 

Volunteers make First Night happen. Hundreds of hours are logged by volunteers each year, including our button sellers, setup and tear down crews and button checkers who donate their time. And let's not forget the Board of Directors, Entertainment Committee and others who work year-round to make the event a success each year.

It takes nearly 125 individuals to assist the Board of Directors with staging this event. We would like to have you take part in the fun! Give us just two hours of your time on December 30th or 31st with setup and oversight of the event or on January 1st with clean-up and receive a complimentary admission button to the event. We ask volunteers to be at least 16 years of age or accompanied by a parent or guardian while volunteering. We also ask all volunteers to attend an orientation meeting on December 29 (date subject to change) to learn more about the event and the key role you play.
